Awal Muharram in KL

Last Tuesday, we are celebrating Awal Muharram and it's holiday in our in office. So we decided to do a morning jogging with my workmates. From our apartment we went to another house where some of our colleagues are staying and tell them that we will take our breakfast together with them and go for a swimming after that.

By the way, what is Awal Muharram?
Awal Muharram (also called Maal Hijrah) celebrates the beginning of the Islamic New Year, and is also the beginning of ten days of remembrance for the martyrdom of Hussein ibn Ali, Prophet Mohammed’s grandson, who was killed in the battle of Karbala on the tenth day of Muharram in the year 680 AD. from http://publicholidays.com.my/awal-muharram/

Ready to dive

This is how we dive lol.

After we swim, one of my friend tell us that he will treat us for lunch in Mcdonalds before we return home and take rest.

While we are on our way home, we saw a small tent and a small truck parked near the lobby. They are selling goods like vegetable, fish, meat and fruits. They said they went there every Tuesday around 4pm to 6pm. It's nice to know that we can buy a food to cook without going outside.
