Central Market and New Kasturi Walk

Last Sunday before I went to church, I decided to visit the new Kasturi Walk, KL-Malaysia. I heard that it was re-opened to the public last February 11, 2011 after a month of general renovation of the place. I want to see the development of the place so I come there with my DSLR.

This Kasturi covered walk displays his traditional kites that signify the Malay culture. Before it was a simple pedestrian walkway but now it was a very interesting place where you can shop and eat.
Wooden Kioks

Along the way, it is surrounded by a wooden kiosk to make you feel that you are just in a small village. There also have a good quality and wooden craft products available in the area of Kasturi walk. Souvenir items are also available for foreign visitors. When you get tired, there are traditional foods and drinks you can get for some food kiosk.

After that I went also beside the Kasturi walk, the Central Market. Where you can find and buy some souvenir items. Arts and crafts are very popular in Central Market. I think it was a wet market before it becomes a souvenir shops.
